Amilado Press is a print studio located in Richfield, MN. Our name, originating from “a mi lado” meaning “by my side” in Spanish, signifies our commitment to collaboration, solidarity, and community. We support artists on their creative journeys through collaborative printing, residencies, and community-based opportunities. Amilado Press was established in 2023 by printmaker Nancy Ariza.

Nancy Ariza

Nancy Ariza is a Minnesota-based Mexican American printmaker, educator, and arts administrator. With over 10 years of experience developing and leading arts programming throughout the state of Minnesota, Nancy has held positions at Minnesota Museum of American Art, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Walker Art Center, Highpoint Center for Printmaking, and Springboard for the Arts.

As a printmaker, Nancy is interested in the expansive, collaborative, and democratic power of print. Her work has been exhibited across the United States and is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA.

Nancy is an active member of the Twin Cities arts community, serving on the Leadership Council of Serpentina Arts, the board of directors of Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center, and the Culturally Responsive Art Education Advisory Committee at the Minnesota Department of Education.

She holds BFA in Printmaking and BA in Art History from Minnesota State University, Mankato, as well as a MA in Education and Graduate Certificate in Culturally Responsive Teaching from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
