Amilado Press reimagines the classic and nostalgic sticker vending machine with small handmade screenprints, featuring artwork by artists María José Castillo, Lynda Grafito, and Genessis Lopez. For just two quarters per print, guests at Silverwood Park can collect nine different nature-inspired mini screenprints dispensed from a refurbished sticker vending machine.

María josé castillo
María José Castillo is a Colombian visual artist and designer. In their practice, they approach language as a tool for conveying meaning and as a catalog of objects to be examined—leaning on poetry and experimental typography. They have received awards and grants from ICETEX, TEDx, MCBA, Franconia Sculpture Park, and SFPC. St. Catherine University and the Walker Arts Center have published their writing. Through their Words Are Objects studio they publish artist books, poetry zines, and serialized prints/objects of their authorship—some are part of collections at Princeton University and Virginia Commonwealth University, amongst others.
lynda grafito
Lynda Grafito is a printmaker, illustrator, muralist and teaching artist, based in Minnesota. Lynda explores themes of migration, memory and natural diversity from Latin America and North America. Lynda was selected in the juried exhibition The First Print Pachanga at El Paso Print Pachanga, TX and Latinx MN: Re/claiming Space in Time of Change at Murphy Gallery, MN. In 2023, was selected as a guest mural artist in Chroma Zone Mural & Art Festival, won the Creative Response Fund grant and was part of the Teaching Artist Learning Community Program at Highpoint Center for Printmaking. In 2024, she got her first artist residency at Tofte Lake Center, won The Next Step Fund from MRAC and completed the illustrations for Nature’s Cookbook Acknowledging the Gifts of Nature Through Cooking, Gardening & Healing produced by CEED. Recently completed the comic HERC: Our Current Reality/Our Future created by CEED and MN.EJ.Table and a mosaic mural with her team 3 Cordilleras Projects at Savage Library, MN.
genessis lopez
Genessis Lopez is a Mexican multidisciplinary artist residing in Minneapolis, MN. She specializes in painting and illustrating plants and flowers to create vibrant clusters of bliss, capturing the joy and tranquility she experiences in nature. Her childhood in Mexico, spent in her grandmother's garden, profoundly influences her work, reflecting the colors, feelings, and emotions from those cherished memories. Lopez teaches Digital Illustration at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and has illustrated work for organizations such as Minnesota Public Radio, the Metropolitan Council, and Metro Transit, and has collaborated with the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association. Notably, she created the cover art for 2023's Art-A-Whirl event, the largest open studio tour in the country, held annually throughout Northeast Minneapolis.
