Jose Dominguez is a Minneapolis-based artist who admires the golden age of cartoons, as seen in his colorful and playful works. With a background in graphic design and studio art, Dominguez combines his interest in typography and logo design with humorous, offbeat storytelling to create work that sparks the viewer's curiosity. He works in sketchbooks to find peace and experiment with ideas, occasionally creating large paintings or murals. His work has been displayed at the National Museum of Mexican Art, the  Minnesota Museum of American Art, and Franconia Sculpture Park. Additionally, he has participated in various exhibitions and mural projects throughout the Twin Cities.
